Job Summary

Performs all aspects of Customer Service including total interaction with customers for pricing details, production scheduling, delivery of product and any questions that may be related to customer’s product; including quality, quantity and details of customer’s orders. Position is Monday-Friday.

Establish and grow rapport with customers and personnel to satisfy their needs

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Maintain detailed records of all customer orders
  • Keep in contact with customer and answer any questions pertaining to their orders and delivery of their product
  • Enter all customers’ requirements or information as it pertains to the status of their orders
  • Verify fabric specifications and standards with all customers
  • Assist customer in tracking and projecting production of their orders
  • Must work closely with production personnel, including supervisors, inspection and shipping department to keep customer informed about the progress of their orders
  • Issue invoices in a timely manner and co-ordinate payments with Accounts Receivables
  • Work closely with Sales Team to satisfy customer’s needs in a timely manner

Qualifications and Skills

 

  • Strong computer skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, Office and Outlook
  • High degree of communication skills both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Good interpersonal skills and good relational skills
  • Ability to organize time and meet deadlines
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Must be able to react quickly to customer’s needs
  • Superior Telephone skills

Job Requirements

 

  • Must be able to handle stressful situations with tact and finesse
  • Must be able to multi task different jobs and projects at the same time meeting critical deadlines
  • 2 year degree required, 4 year degree a plus
  • Hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with the possibility of overtime

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit for extended periods of time due to use of computer and telephone
